For the record, I love pinterest. For those of you that don't know what it is, it's basically a visual database of inspiration from people all over the world. You can create your own visual files by category so that you can reference them/share them online at anytime. For someone like myself who loves visuals, it's pretty much a dream come true. However, I did see this quote on there today which is so true and made me laugh out loud. It's always so refreshing to hear the honest truth sometimes, isn't it?

And, for the record, I AM going to make some of those crafts. So there.

Somethings Hiding in Here.

I'm VERY excited to tell you about this next duo, Shauna and Stephen from Something's Hiding in Here. They are an adorable couple that master all things handmade. And, can I add, all things awesome! I'm not even going to try to list everything they've created because the list would never end, but it includes: mustaches on a stick, heart yo-yo's, vintage bow ties, wood block jewelry, and tote bags. Just to name a few. They live the life I wish I did ... creating adorable random things each and every day. Click the links below the images for more info!

For more about this duo, read their Etsy interview here.

Check out their Etsy shop here.

Ashley Meaders.

lately i've been on a search for inspiration. i'm eager and ready to create something. anything. the only problem is i don't know where to begin. i know that where i begin is not anywhere near as important as simply beginning, and that i just need to start. so, that's what i'm going to do. i'm toting all my crafting supplies back to WA with me and i'm going to get started.

as i start to share with you things that i create, i also want to share with you things that others create. i have started compiling a list (on the right side of my blog) of people and companies that inspire me. so, starting today i'm going to tell you about each company, and why they are so fabulous. so get excited... inspiration here we come!

starting at the top is ashley meaders. her website sports the slogan 'i make stuff', and that is what she does. makes stuff that is used for events. her creations have been featured on design*sponge, as well as once wed, and they are absolutely awesome. i think what i love most is that they are unique, and suit each event's personality. you can't help but smile. here's a few of my favorite creations:

"bells" cake topper

flower decoration

valentine's day banner
